JetBlue Expands Fort Lauderdale Network with New Cleveland Route

JetBlue is expanding its presence at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL) with the launch of new nonstop service to Cleveland and increased frequencies across several existing routes.

The new Cleveland service will begin July 8 with daily flights, adding another destination to JetBlue’s growing network from South Florida. The airline is also increasing service on nine routes spanning domestic and Caribbean markets, including Atlanta, Newark, Las Vegas and Santo Domingo.

The expansion reflects JetBlue’s continued investment in Fort Lauderdale as a key focus city, where it operates the largest number of departures among all carriers.

Over the past year, the airline has added service to more than 20 cities from FLL and increased daily departures significantly, reinforcing its strategy to build depth in core markets through both new routes and added frequency.

For airport operators, the move highlights the importance of frequency growth in strengthening hub connectivity, improving passenger flexibility and supporting sustained traffic gains.

The additional service is expected to enhance connectivity across JetBlue’s network, providing more options for travelers across the United States, Latin America and the Caribbean.

The expansion also underscores continued demand in South Florida, where airlines are increasing capacity to capture both leisure and business travel growth.
