August 26, 2013 – Roanoke, Texas – Pollard Spares, LLC, announced it recently acquired an operating Gulfstream GIV aircraft to offer a full line of parts for the Gulfstream market. This airworthy GIV, serial number 1018, was flown into Dallas Executive Airport for disassembly and is now available for serviceable and overhauled part requirements.

“We understand the difficulty in maintaining high-end aircraft and finding quality parts at reasonable prices,” commented Tim Pollard, Chief Executive Officer for Pollard Spares, LLC. “We are transforming the traditional parts business by offering OEM parts from a serviceable, flying aircraft. The current pre-owned aircraft market allowed us to seize this GIV opportunity while providing our customers with a cost effective solution to parts acquisitions. It’s a win-win situation and we are excited about the opportunity we see with this new business initiative,” added Tim Pollard.

Pollard’s comprehensive inventory of serviceable parts includes engines, flight control surfaces, landing gear and avionics. Pollard will manage and control these parts with industry-leading quality systems for traceability. AOG service is also available and Pollard Spares can provide GIV operators exchange and rental programs for all items 24-7. This inventory of GIV parts represents a Game-Changer for the parts industry.
