SEA Acquires Global Aerospace Consulting

SEA has acquired all of the STCs, processes and formats from the acquisition; N.J. Curran appointed Director of Engineering and Certification.

Southeast Aerospace Inc (SEA) is proud to announce the acquisition of Global Aerospace Consulting Inc. (Global Aerospace) a worldwide leader in systems design, integration, certification and aircraft technical publications. SEA has retained Global Aerospace’s President Mr. N. “J.” Curran; and he has been appointed as SEA’s Director of Engineering and Certification at SEA’s corporate headquarters in Melbourne, Florida, USA.

Mr. Curran, with his 24 years of experience in the aerospace industry and 19 years as an FAA Designated Engineering Representative (DER), brings disciplines in Management, Flight Analyst, Systems & Equipment, Parts 23, 25, 27, 29 as well as EAPAS and EASA/JAA Authority approvals.

Furthermore, Mr. Curran has met the FAA’s requirements for an Organization Designation Authorization (ODA) administrator. SEA is in the process of obtaining STC, PMA and Major Alteration ODA.

SEA has acquired all of the STCs, processes and formats from the acquisition. The transition for Global’s customers will be seamless and transparent.

Southeast Aerospace is a worldwide leader in Avionics Distribution, Repair & Overhaul with PMA Manufacturing capability. Coupled with the engineering and certification services of Global Aerospace, SEA will be able to provide full technical services to its customers including STCs, DER approvals, PMA’d Installation Kits, worldwide On-Site support, and technical publications.
