JetBlue inaugurates nonstop service from Old Pueblo to Big Apple

A ceremonial JetBlue Airways plane arrived Thursday at Tucson International Airport to a water cannon salute, marking the first day of the company's nonstop service from Tucson to New York City. JetBlue offers nonstop daily service to the Big Apple, hoping to attract business travelers. Service to John F. Kennedy International Airport departs Tucson at 11:30 p.m. and arrives at JFK at 7:15 a.m. Flights from JFK depart at 8 p.m. to arrive in Tucson at 10:30 p.m. All times are local. The airline also offers nonstop service to JFK from Phoenix.
