Allegiant Air offers new nonstop services from Asheville to Orlando
Allegiant Air, US based low-cost airline owned by Allegiant Travel Co., is planning to offer new nonstop services from Asheville Regional Airport to Orlando.
According to Allegiant Air, this new service will be effective from November 18. Allegiant Air will offer weekly two services on this route with 150-seat MD-80 jets. The first service will depart Asheville Regional Airport at 8.20PM on Mondays and Fridays and reach Orlando Sanford at 9.50PM. The return services will leave at 6.10PM and reach Asheville Regional Airport at 7.40PM on same days. The new nonstop service between Asheville Regional Airport and Orlando is expected to partly fill a gap after AirTran Airways had stopped its three weekly services on this route in January. According to Kristine Shattuck-Cooper, Public Relations Manager of Allegiant Air, the airline is initially offering services at $49.98 for one-way and are expected to be around $50 - $150 after opening sale is over.
