Ethiopian Cargo & Logistics Services has partnered with CargoAi to expand its digital booking capabilities, giving freight forwarders access to real-time rates and online capacity booking.

Through the integration, more than 30,000 freight forwarders across Europe, Africa, the Middle East and Asia can access Ethiopian Cargo's General Cargo and Express services through CargoAi's CargoMART marketplace.

Forwarders also can connect to Ethiopian Cargo through transportation management systems using CargoAi's CargoCONNECT platform, extending booking access across multiple systems and markets served by the carrier.

The partnership also provides Ethiopian Cargo with access to CargoAi's digital interline capabilities, which are designed to streamline bookings and capacity management between airline partners.

CargoAi CEO Matthieu Petot said providing real-time access to capacity and pricing will give forwarders greater access to Ethiopian Cargo's network while expanding the carrier's digital reach.

The partnership is part of Ethiopian Cargo's broader effort to automate and digitize cargo processes and provide freight forwarders with more direct access to its capacity and services.
