CMA CGM Air Cargo Adds Digital Allotment Booking Through CargoAi
CMA CGM AIR CARGO has expanded its collaboration with CargoAi to allow freight forwarders to manage recurring capacity agreements through CargoAi’s CargoMART platform.
The new functionality covers allotments, block space agreements, pre-bookings and other recurring capacity arrangements. It is designed to replace email-based processes with a structured, flight-by-flight digital booking workflow.
Freight forwarders working with CMA CGM AIR CARGO can use CargoMART to submit allotment information, receive booking confirmations and track status updates. Forwarders working across multiple participating airlines can also submit a single allotment file rather than managing separate processes for each carrier.
CargoAi said the system is intended to reduce repetitive booking and follow-up work for airline and freight forwarding staff while providing both parties with greater visibility into recurring capacity agreements.
The platform’s Strategic Hub also provides reporting on allocation utilization, performance and pricing, giving CMA CGM AIR CARGO and its forwarder partners shared data for managing allocations and pre-bookings.
CMA CGM AIR CARGO joins other carriers using CargoAi to automate recurring capacity management.
