LSG Sky Chefs Supports Repatriation Flights for Lufthansa
Recently, LSG Sky Chefs has been providing catering services for repatriation flights aboard Lufthansa, Edelweiss Air and Brussels Airlines that have returned citizens to Germany.
According to a news posting on the company website, LSG Sky Chefs had loaded 86 flights in Frankfurt, 40 flights in Munich, 23 flights in Zurich, 22 flights in Brussels and, when and where it was possible, at other destinations. The company noted the unique challenges for these flights. For example, when aircraft left the departure airport without passengers on board, only catering for the crew and the return flight was required.
