Spirit Airlines to Add Flights to Cancun, Miami and San Juan from Atlantic City Later This Year
Spirit Airlines will begin offering non-stop flights from Atlantic City International Airport to three warm-weather destinations this fall — Cancun, Miami and San Juan, the airline announced Tuesday.
Daily flights to Miami will start Oct. 6, Spirit said. On Oct. 29, Spirit will launch service to Cancun, Mexico four times a week. Then two days later, flights to San Juan, Puerto Rico three days a week are slated to begin.
The airline currently flies to Fort Lauderdale, Fort Myers, Myrtle Beach, Orlando, Tampa and West Palm Beach from Atlantic City International. Spirit says its operation out of Atlantic City is 35% larger than in 2019.
Spirit also offers service from Newark Liberty, LaGuardia in New York and Philadelphia airports. Spirit said it’s set to add 16 new Airbus A320neo planes to its fleet this year and another 21 next year.
