New York AG Fines JFK Ground Handling Service $12 Million for Kickback Scheme

An airport ground handling company has agreed to pay a $12.3 million fine to settle a kickback scheme uncovered by the New York Attorney General's office.

Ground Services International (GSI) allegedly made fraudulent payments intended to secure various contracts the company had at John F. Kennedy Airport with two major services — British Airways and Terminal One Group Association (TOGA).
