Eagle County Regional Airport Selected to Host TakeOff North America 2027
Eagle County Regional Airport (EGE) has been selected to host TakeOff North America 2027, positioning the Colorado airport at the center of industry discussions around domestic air service development.
The event is expected to attract representatives from more than 190 organizations, including airlines, airports and industry stakeholders focused on expanding connectivity across North America.
The selection comes as EGE continues to see strong growth, particularly during peak winter travel periods. The airport recorded a 13% increase in winter capacity year-over-year, with more than 330,000 departing seats and over 30 daily commercial flights during peak periods.
Service at EGE is supported by multiple carriers and key hub connections, including Denver, Dallas-Fort Worth, Chicago O’Hare and Atlanta, reinforcing its role as a critical gateway for Colorado’s mountain region.
Growth is expected to continue into the summer season, with projected capacity increases of 15% compared to the previous year.
For airport operators, the selection highlights the importance of sustained air service development strategies, particularly in seasonal markets where year-round connectivity remains a key objective.
Hosting TakeOff North America will provide EGE with a platform to engage directly with airline network planners and industry leaders, supporting future route development and long-term connectivity growth.
The event also reflects broader industry interest in secondary and leisure-focused airports that are demonstrating strong demand and strategic growth potential.
