H+S Aviation and Dallas Airmotive Expand Rotorcraft Engine Repair and Overhaul Network with Certifications for Abu Dhabi Facility
HELI-EXPO – Dallas, TX – H+S Aviation and Dallas Airmotive, BBA Aviation Group companies, announced today that H+S Aviation’s facility in Abu Dhabi is now certified for Engine Repair and Overhaul services for customers from Oman and India.
“We are proud to see our Abu Dhabi facility continue to grow its reputation in the rotorcraft industry as a trusted location for our customers to send their engines for expert maintenance,” Mark Stubbs, Chief Commercial Officer, BBA Aviation Global Engine Services, said. “With our recent certifications for Oman and India, we have added capabilities to service rotorcraft to local customers in those countries.”
In addition to the certifications for Oman and India, H+S Aviation’s Abu Dhabi facility holds certifications from the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) and the UAE’s General Civil Aviation Authority. The facility anticipates receiving its Federal Aviation Administrations (FAA) certificate in the coming weeks as well; allowing the location to service even more customers around the globe.
“The Abu Dhabi facility is strategically located to serve PT6C and PW200-powered rotorcraft throughout the region,” Stubbs said. “The growing rotorcraft market in the Middle East requires a certified maintenance facility that will be there for our customers whenever they need us and wherever they need us. It is our goal to continue to expand our certifications for other countries in the region to provide extended engine support.”
