The JW Group, Inc. Selected by National Safe Skies Alliance, Inc. to Develop an Airport Credentialing Efficiency Toolkit

On Dec. 11, the JW Group, Inc. announced it was selected by the National Safe Skies Alliance – Program for Applied Research in Airport Security (PARAS) to support the development of an Airport Credentialing Efficiency Toolkit for the U.S. aviation industry. Under the research project, The JW Group team will research the major challenges airport security badging offices face throughout the credentialing process and will develop resources and strategic recommendations to enhance efficiencies and assist airports to overcome these challenges. Anticipated research topics include staffing limitations and job duty assignments, Authorized Signatory responsibilities, appointments and scheduling, document verification, relevant metrics and reporting, applicant assistance, effectively implementing new processes, and leveraging available technology as applicable. The toolkit to be developed will include guidance and resource material in these topic areas, as well as several others, and will benefit airports of all sizes.

The effort will include data collection through airport interviews and other industry outreach. “We are very excited to be selected for this project,” stated Jim Willis, president of The JW Group, Inc. “The combination of our business process management, security systems and airport operations expertise make this project well suited for us.
