StandardAero Opens MRO Expansion in Winnipeg
StandardAero has announced that the company’s expanded MRO facility in Winnipeg is now officially open.
The expanded Winnipeg MRO now spans 70,000 square feet, adding full support capabilities for the following engines:
A major goal of this expansion is for StandardAero to highlight its dedication to CFM56 and CF34 customers in commercial, business and military aviation.
As StandardAero is a GE-Branded Service Agreement (GBSA) partner for CF34 engines, the MRO already provides services like:
- CF34 authorized line maintenance (Augusta, GA, USA)
- Engine health monitoring (EHM) data analysis support (Gonesse, France)
- CF34 component repairs (various global locations)
Additionally, StandardAero has a CFM International General Support License Agreement (GSLA) for the CFM56-5B and CFM56-7B. This enables the company to offer support like:
- Engine overhaul
- Engine testing
- Exchange engines
- Used serviceable material (USM)
- Component repair and overhaul
- EHM data analysis
StandardAero provides these MRO services from the following locations:
- Winnipeg, MB, Canada
- DFW International Airport, TX, USA
