McFarlane Aviation has announced it is now carrying the Flex MD23 Volt/Amp Meter as the component’s sole distributor.

The FAA STC-approved Flex MD23 Volt/Amp Meter is designed to act as a digital replacement for the following legacy gauges and selector switches used on the Cessna 208B Caravan:

• Cessna C662504-0101
• Cessna S3486-1
• Selector switch 2670120-1

It can be used with original 200A and 300A electrical systems.

This meter acts as a modern solution that makes electrical system monitoring simpler by creating a single instrument that performs the functions of both the volt/amp meter and the selector switch.

By doing so, pilots can easily choose from four different display configurations to monitor data like:

• Generator output
• Battery charging or discharging
• System voltage
• Electrical system information
