McFarlane Aviation Acquires FAA-PMA Product Line from South Seas Ventures
McFarlane Aviation has acquired the broad line of FAA-PMA products previously held by South Seas Ventures.
The acquisition gives McFarlane additional reach in the aviation market and increases the company’s capacity to keep legacy aircraft parts accessible for aircraft like Beechcraft Barons and Bonanzas.
The product line includes:
- Landing gear
- Door and step components
- Flight control and engine control hardware
- Bearings
- Bolts
- Bushings
- Steps
- Door handles
- Rod ends
- Assorted clamps, springs, rings and clips
“As the general aviation fleet matures, the continued availability and support of legacy platforms remain a vital priority,” said Mike Polanis, president, McFarlane.
Polanis added, “Bringing the South Seas Ventures competed FAA-PMA product line into our system ensures these essential products remain available for years to come. We’re proud to expand our ability to serve customers who rely on these aircraft.”
“We’ve always been committed to supporting the owners and operators of these aircraft,” said South Seas Ventures owner Michael Kobylik.
Kobylik continued, “McFarlane shares that same commitment to quality, safety and customer service. We’re confident that our customers will benefit greatly from McFarlane’s manufacturing capabilities, distribution network and technical expertise.”
McFarlane plans to integrate the South Seas inventory seamlessly into its distribution operations and does not foresee interruptions for customers.
To support smooth integration, the company’s technical support staff is preparing resources, such as:
- Updated product resources
- Documentation
- System updates
