HiSERV is expanding its presence in Southern Europe through the integration of TOP GSE, strengthening the company’s ground support equipment rental and service operations across Spain and Portugal.

The companies signed an agreement Sept. 9 to integrate TOP GSE into the HiSERV Group. The transaction expands HiSERV’s local fleet and team supporting customers at approximately 40 airports across the two countries.

Founded in 2010, TOP GSE provides GSE rental, leasing and sales services to airlines, ground handlers and other aviation customers in Spain and Portugal. Its portfolio includes motorized and non-motorized equipment.

The agreement follows HiSERV’s entry into the Spanish market earlier this year. In May, the company began supporting a major European airline at Palma de Mallorca Airport with a fleet of more than 30 units of GSE.

HiSERV said integrating TOP GSE will combine the local company’s market knowledge, customer relationships and operational experience with HiSERV’s international network and fleet management capabilities.

“TOP GSE has built a strong reputation in Spain and Portugal, with an experienced team and long-standing customer relationships,” said Roland Ückert, CEO of HiSERV. “Together, we can provide our customers with an even broader range of services and strengthen our position in this important market.”

The companies will continue the integration process in the coming months.

The announcement comes just ahead of GSE Expo Europe 2026, taking place Sept. 15-17 at FIL in Lisbon, Portugal, where HiSERV and TOP GSE will both exhibit.
