Layoffs Expected from Finavia, Airpro
Finnish airport operator Finavia announced it will layoff 110 employees, according to a report from the Helsinki Times.
The report notes that Finavia previously estimated 130 employees would be laid off, but due to agreements over cost-saving measures some jobs were saved.
According to the the Helsinki Times, additional layoffs are expected from Airpro - a subsidiary of Finavia that offers ground handling services. The report indicates as many as 350 jobs could be made redundant, pending ongoing negotiations.
