Iran to Continue Reducing Domestic Flights
Aug. 21—The process of reducing domestic flights in Iran will continue until August 27, 2021, a member of the Board of the Iran Airports Company (IAC) Mohammad Amirani told Mehr News Agency, Trend reports.
Amirani said that in general, flights in Iran for 5 days ( August 16 through August 20, 2021) decreased by 57 percent.
The official added that for example, 148 flights were held at Tehran's Mehrabad Airport on August 19, 2021, which is a decrease of about 57 percent, compared to the July 19, 2021.
As reported, about 77,200 domestic flights were held at Iranian airports and a total of 5,933,975 million passengers were transported.
