Meier Appointed VP Head of Group Communications
Swissport has appointed Christoph Meier VP Head of Group Communications.
Meier is an experienced corporate communications professional with a proven track record in leading global teams and internal and external partners. He joins Swissport from Lufthansa Group, where he was Head of Communication Strategy and Planning, tasked with drafting the Group Communications agenda, integrated content planning and multi-channel communication campaigns. Before that, Meier was Lufthansa’s Head Media Relations for Southeast Europe, Middle East and Africa, and later took on responsibility for Group Media Relations at the Lufthansa head office. Prior to his engagement at Lufthansa Group, he held various corporate communications management roles at Swiss International Air Lines. Meier is a Swiss citizen, and holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of Fribourg.
