Jet Linx Receives Recertification for IS-BAO State III
Jet Linx has obtained the highest level of re-certification from the International Standard for Business Aircraft Operations (IS-BAO), the benchmark of professionalism and standardization for the conduct of flight operations departments for the fourth consecutive year.
The coveted IS-BAO Stage III certification, developed by the International Business Aviation Council (IBAC) and its member associations in 2000, is a recommended code of best practices designed to help aviation departments worldwide achieve the finest levels of safety and professionalism. Globally accepted as the gold standard for aviation operations, Stage III specifically verifies that safety management activities are fully integrated into the operator's business and that a positive safety culture is being sustained.
Jet Linx first earned IS-BAO certification in 2009, and a Stage III rating in 2015. “We turn to outside audits like IS-BAO to ensure we remain ahead of the curve in safety," noted Jamie Walker, Jet Linx President and CEO. "Once again achieving the highest available IS-BAO rating of Stage III affirms the continuous vigilance of our team and our strong safety culture. Jet Linx is fully committed to delivering the highest level of service. Obtaining our re-certification validates that commitment."
The robust Jet Linx safety culture includes rigorous protocols, ongoing employee-focused training and an annual Safety Summit each summer at its National Operations Center in Omaha, Nebraska and 15 local Base locations. Founded by the company’s executive leadership and led along with private aviation specialists, the Summit serves as weeklong program, during which all Jet Linx employees participate in training exercises and roundtable discussions to review and develop all current safety standards and protocols.
“We continually strive to be the safest operator in private aviation and advance the standards for the industry. We are proud to support this effort with the validation of an elite certification behind us,” continued Walker.
