AZO Welcomes the Return of United Airlines

Sept. 30, 2020

The Kalamazoo/Battle Creek International Airport’s recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic hits a bright note on Oct. 1 as United Airlines returns to the airport. United had pulled their schedule for the months of July, August, and September as they navigated the impacts of COVID-19 on their own flight operations.

“We welcome United’s return to Kalamazoo and the access they provide to their extensive network of domestic and international destinations. Throughout the pandemic, United assured the Airport of their commitment to southwest Michigan and their return confirms that commitment,” said Airport Director, Craig Williams.

United will operate one or two flights daily to/from their Chicago O’Hare gateway, depending on the day of week. The flights are timed to maximize the number of domestic and international connections over Chicago O’Hare.
