Paradies Lagardère Brings Local Flavor with New Restaurant and Unique Travel Essential Concept

Sept. 27, 2019
Chef Michael Mina eatery and concept based on local history flies into San Francisco International Airport.

Paradies Lagardère celebrated two concepts in the newly-opened Harvey Milk Terminal 1, a $2.4 billion project that debuted in July 2019. Mills Cargo, a travel essential store that celebrates the heritage of San Francisco airport, is located near Gate B3, and Bourbon Pub, a local favorite helmed by Chef Michael Mina, offers delicious bar fare and beverages near Gate B7/B8.

These concepts will not only enhance the customer experience at SFO, but also embody the airport’s spirit of innovation, focus on the environment and sustainability, and commitment to diversity, equality and inclusion.

“Paradies Lagardère is thrilled to bring Bourbon Pub and Mills Cargo to San Francisco International Airport and the new terminal,” said Gregg Paradies, president and CEO, Paradies Lagardère. “Chef Michael Mina has a global following; fans of his restaurants, and those unfamiliar with his concepts, will love the delicious menu and relaxed atmosphere of Bourbon Pub. And we’re excited to know that Mills Cargo has resonated with travelers, with its selection of local and regional goods and travel essentials in a space that speaks to the history of the airport."

Snacks include chicken wings or tenders with a choice of Buffalo or green sauce, and the nachos, loaded with a sunny-side-up egg, beef chili, American cheese and avocado. Travelers with a taste for lighter fare can enjoy several salad options including The Wedge with reyes blue cheese, tomato, egg, bacon, red onion, and ranch dressing. Sandwich and burgers such as the Heritage Turkey BLTA with bacon, tomato and avocado, and the Bourbon Burger, featuring caramelized onions and mushrooms, bacon and smoked gouda.
