Airport Interactive Media (AIM) has been selected to sell advertising at the Springfield‐Branson National Airport.

Involved in airport advertising for more than 15 years, AIM provides innovative digital display networks and currently manages five airport advertising programs across the Midwest.

“As Missouri’s tourism continues strong economic growth, the Springfield airport is one of the best choices for local and regional brands to activate their advertising campaigns, reaching the growing number of customers at the airport,” says Andy Knopfmeier, regional account manager, Airport Interactive Media. “We’re excited to partner with the airport and provide brand new, engaging digital displays, to help Springfield and Branson advertise their diverse attractions that make this area a world class entertainment region in the United States. Our new network of immersive digital displays will include a 4K HD Video Board and an upgraded 55 inch digital display network all throughout the terminal and baggage claim area.”

A 2017 Nielsen Airport Insight Study reveals that airport advertising offers consumers a great opportunity to absorb and respond to brand messaging. Flyers are highly responsive to airport advertising, with 80 percent noticing the media and 42 percent taking action (visiting a website or store to learn more about the advertiser). Airport advertising campaigns are a significant driver of foot traffic, with 84 percent of frequent fliers likely to visit a restaurant after seeing the advertisement.

“We’re glad to have Airport Interactive Media representing the airport,” says Kent Boyd, airport marketing manager. “They’ll be a great asset to the advertisers who want to be in front of the airport’s 1.5 million annual visitors.”

Last year 1,075,425 passengers used the Springfield airport flying on four airlines: Allegiant, American, Delta, and United. The airlines provide non‐stop flights to: Los Angeles, Phoenix, Las Vegas, Denver, Dallas, Charlotte, Houston, Chicago, Atlanta, Charlotte, Ft. Walton Beach, Tampa/St. Petersburg, Orlando, and Punta Gorda/Ft. Myers.
