Print Your Ticket and Expect Delays if You’re Flying Allegiant Air on Wednesday, Lehigh Valley International Airport Warns
If you’re flying Allegiant this week, be prepared, both the company and Lehigh Valley International Airport have warned.
Online boarding passes or flight information won’t be available from Tuesday evening through Wednesday, the airline said Tuesday on the social media site.
The Allegiant website and mobile will close to undergo system maintenance beginning at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
Passengers who are traveling on Tuesday evening that they should check-in and print their boarding passes, or save them to a digital wallet, before the system closes at 7:30 p.m., the company said.
Passengers traveling on Wednesday will be required to collect their tickets from the Allegiant ticket counter on the second floor of Main Terminal at Lehigh Valley International Airport, before going through security, the airport said.
“Boarding passes generated before August 22 will not be valid after the system update,” the airline said. “We strongly advise passengers to arrive three hours prior to the scheduled departure time.”
Allegiant Air has promised to waive all fees associated with printing boarding passes at the airport, but passengers should arrive early and expect delays, the company said.
