CA: Allegiant to Pull Out of Sonoma County Airport

After a little more than a year of service, Allegiant Airlines will cease operations at Charles M. Schulz–Sonoma County Airport as of July 30 due to uneven passenger traffic.

“Their overall load factor is not where they would like it to be,” said Jon Stout, airport manager.

The carrier has been offering twice-weekly flights from the Santa Rosa airport to Las Vegas. While outbound Thursday flights to Las Vegas have been nearly full, outbound flights on Sundays have been about half full, Stout said.
