Cathay Pacific has launched new nonstop passenger service between Seattle-Tacoma International Airport and Hong Kong International Airport, restoring a direct link between the Pacific Northwest and Asia.
The airline will operate the route five times per week, marking its seventh U.S. passenger destination and ninth in North America. The service is currently the only nonstop connection between Seattle and Hong Kong.
The new route strengthens connectivity for both business and leisure travelers, while also supporting cargo capacity through additional belly freight space on long-haul aircraft.
The service is operated using Airbus A350-900 aircraft, offering a full range of cabin options including business, premium economy and economy seating.
The launch aligns with Cathay Pacific’s broader North America expansion strategy and its ongoing investment in fleet, onboard products and passenger experience.
Airport officials said the route enhances global access for the Seattle region, while reinforcing Hong Kong’s position as a key international aviation hub.
