LOT Polish Airlines is adding another transatlantic destination to its schedule with the launch of nonstop service between Warsaw Chopin Airport and San Francisco International Airport. The carrier has opened ticket sales for the new route, which will begin May 6, 2026, and operate during the summer season.

The airline will offer four weekly flights—Wednesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays—connecting Poland’s capital with one of the West Coast’s leading business and tourism hubs. The service will be operated by Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft, with a block time of approximately 11 hours and 30 minutes.

San Francisco becomes the latest U.S. destination in LOT’s long-haul network, joining Chicago, New York, Newark, Miami and Los Angeles. The United States remains one of LOT’s most important growth markets; more than 800,000 passengers traveled between Poland and the U.S. on the airline over the past year.

The new route is designed to support both leisure and business demand. San Francisco and the surrounding Bay Area—including Silicon Valley—serve as global centers for technology and innovation, in addition to being a major tourism destination known for its cultural districts, waterfront attractions and landmark sites such as the Golden Gate Bridge, Fisherman’s Wharf and the city’s historic cable cars.

Flights LO035 and LO037 will depart Warsaw for San Francisco on alternating schedules, while return flights LO036 and LO038 will operate the same days from California back to Poland. Tickets are now available through LOT’s website, call center and LOT Travel offices.
