Narita International Airport Shuts Runway After Air Canada Plane Enters Wrong Taxiway
CHIBA – Narita International Airport closed one of its two runways for several hours Monday after an Air Canada plane entered the wrong taxiway after landing.
It took more than five hours before passengers were able to begin disembarking the Boeing 787 aircraft from Montreal’s Trudeau International Airport, which mistakenly entered the taxiway and stopped there at around 3:45 p.m. The taxiway is under construction.
