Two Unhurt When Plane Flips at Ellinwood Airport

Dec. 14—ELLINWOOD — Two people escaped injury when a taxiing plane flipped on the runway at Ellinwood Airport.

The Kansas Highway Patrol reported that a 1946 Luscombe 8A plane piloted by Ray Franklin Milsap, 86, of Raymond, had landed at the Ellinwood airport about 2:45 p.m. Monday and was taxiing when Mislap applied brakes, and the plane flipped over nose first, coming to rest on its top.

Also in the plane was Ted Alan Milsap, 58, of Claremore, Oklahoma.
