Four American Airlines Crew Members Taken to Hospital After Reporting Fumes in Cockpit
CLEVELAND, Ohio – Four crew members on an American Airlines flight leaving Cleveland Hopkins International Airport were taken to the hospital after smelling fumes in the cockpit, an airport spokesperson said.
The flight was set to depart from Cleveland to Charlotte when the crew smelled fumes. Four crewmembers in the cockpit were transported to a local hospital as a precaution.
A spokesperson from the airline said the aircraft is currently being inspected by a maintenance team.
“Upon arrival and prior to departing from Cleveland International Airport (CLE), crewmembers reported a possible odor in the cabin of American Airlines flight 1264,” the statement said.
