Héroux Devtek Designates C&L Aviation Group as a Factory Authorized Repair Station for Flutter Dampers

Under the new authorization, C&L is the only provider who can provide OEM-specified repair, testing with OEM parts, OEM manuals and full engineering support.

Héroux‑Devtek has designated C&L Aerospace (C&L) as a factory-authorized repair station for flutter dampeners used on certain Challenger and Bombardier aircraft.

Under the new authorization, C&L is the only provider who has support from the OEM to provide:

  • OEM-specified repair
  • Testing with OEM parts
  • OEM manuals
  • Full engineering support

This designation enables C&L to reduce turnaround times while maintaining high-quality repairs and reliability.

The authorization covers flutter dampeners installed on the following aircraft:

  • Bombardier CRJ
  • Challenger 604
  • Challenger 605
  • Challenger 650

All flutter dampers are released with FAA Form 8130‑3 and EASA Dual Release as standard.

Repairs are currently underway at C&L’s Bangor, Maine component facility, which holds certifications like:

  • FAA
  • EASA
  • UK CAA
  • TCCA
  • ISO9001:2015
  • AS9110 certification

All flutter dampers are released with FAA Form 8130‑3 and EASA Dual Release as standard.
