AURA AERO is officially unveiling the new designs for the exterior and interior of its hybrid-electric regional aircraft: ERA.

The company plans to debut the ERA’s new designs at AERO Friedrichshafen 2026, taking place in Germany from April 22-25, 2026.

As AURA AERO plans for the ERA aircraft to function as a practical solution for modern environmental challenges in aviation, the new design prioritizes simplicity and versatility in applications.

For example, the new ERA design features optimized high-voltage electrical architecture and capabilities for applications like:

  • Business aviation
  • Special missions
  • Regional transport
  • Cargo

The aircraft’s hybrid-electric architecture also minimizes environmental footprint while keeping operating costs low.

Aside from debuting the ERA’s new look, AURA AERO also plans to exhibit its two-seater training airplanes, both of which are capable of performing aerobatics.

The INTEGRAL R has conventional landing gear and a 210-hp SEP engine, and it’s commonly used for aerobatics and flight training. This aircraft is currently pursuing FAA certification, aiming to secure it by summer 2026, which will enable orders in the U.S. in addition to existing global orders.

The INTEGRAL S has features that make it easily maneuverable and ideal for teacher-student interactions, such as:

  • Side-by-side cockpit
  • Tricycle landing gear
  • Wide flight envelope
  • 180 hp SEP engine

It is in the process of obtaining EASA certification, with deliveries planned for 2026.
