Plane, Paraglider Collide in Fatal Texas Crash: FAA
Two people were killed Tuesday morning after a small plane and a paraglider collided in Texas.
The crash occurred around 9:40 a.m. near Fulshear, in Fort Bend County, about 33 miles west of Houston, shortly after the collision.
The Federal Aviation Administration said both aircraft were carrying a single person.
The plane was identified as a single-engine Cessna 208.
The FAA and National Transportation Safety Board are investigating and said they would not identify either victim.
The Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office said the plane is owned by a “sportsman’s club.”
According to ABC 13, a parachute was spotted near the site of the wreckage.
