The new SATA jet K pressure-fed spray gun is now available, delivering a powerful solution for industrial and large-area coating applications where productivity, consistency, and finish quality are essential. Designed for demanding industries including aerospace, defense, commercial transportation, and other industrial sectors, the jet K combines advanced atomization technology with user-focused ergonomics to deliver reliable performance across a broad range of coating materials.
At the core of the jet K is SATA’s proven labyrinth airflow system, a technology first introduced with the SATA jet X in automotive refinishing. By minimizing turbulence within the nozzle, the system creates smooth, consistent atomization throughout the entire spray pattern. For aircraft paint technicians and industrial finishers, this means more uniform coating application with reduced overspray, less mottling, and fewer surface imperfections.
Developed for large components and broad surface areas, the jet K features a taller spray pattern than the SATAjet 3000 K, increasing surface coverage and improving application efficiency. This enables painters to complete large projects more quickly while maintaining consistent finish quality.
The jet K is available with both Standard and MaxLayer nozzle options to accommodate various coating materials and viscosities. Standard nozzles are designed for low- to medium-viscosity coatings, while MaxLayer nozzles are engineered for high-build functional coatings. MaxLayer technology delivers higher film build in a single pass, reducing the number of coats required and minimizing overall spray time.
Comfort and adaptability were key considerations in the jet K design. Weighing approximately 430 grams, the lightweight spray gun supports improved comfort during extended applications. Every jet K also includes a second Med-Large trigger set, allowing users to customize trigger fit and spacing based on their individual preferences.
The jet K integrates with a variety of fluid delivery systems, including pressure tanks, double diaphragm pumps, plural component systems, and other low-pressure setups. An optional air micrometer and swivel joint can be added to the air inlet for convenient on-gun pressure adjustment and improved maneuverability.
