SATA has introduced the new jet K pressure-fed spray gun, designed specifically for industrial and large-surface coating applications where speed, consistency, and finish quality are critical. Built for demanding environments such as aerospace, defense, commercial transportation, and other industrial coating operations, the jet K combines advanced atomization technology with ergonomic design to help improve application efficiency across a wide range of materials.

At the core of the jet K is SATA’s proven labyrinth airflow system, technology first introduced with the SATA jet X in automotive refinishing applications. The airflow design minimizes turbulence inside the nozzle, producing smooth and even atomization throughout the spray pattern. For aircraft paint technicians, this means more uniform coating application with reduced overspray, less mottling, and fewer surface imperfections during the finishing process.

The jet K was developed with large surfaces in mind, making it well suited for aircraft components and other industrial coating projects requiring consistent coverage across broad areas. A taller spray pattern than the SATAjet 3000 K allows painters to increase surface coverage and improve transfer efficiency while helping reduce application time.

To support a wide range of coating materials and viscosities, the jet K is available with both Standard and MaxLayer nozzle options. Standard nozzles are designed for low- to medium-viscosity materials, while the MaxLayer nozzles are engineered for high-build functional coatings. MaxLayer technology enables higher film build in a single pass, helping reduce the number of coats required and minimizing spray time without compromising finish quality.

The spray gun’s lightweight construction also supports operator comfort during extended use. Weighing approximately 430 grams, the jet K is designed to reduce strain during larger projects and repetitive applications commonly found in industrial and aerospace maintenance environments.

SATA also focused on flexibility and customization in the jet K platform. In addition to the standard trigger configuration, every jet K includes a second Med-Large trigger set, allowing users to customize the fit and spacing of the trigger to better suit individual preferences and hand sizes.

The jet K can be integrated into a variety of coating setups, including pressure tanks, double diaphragm pumps, plural component systems, and other low-pressure delivery systems. Users also have the option to add an air micrometer and swivel joint accessory to the air inlet for on-gun pressure adjustment and improved hose mobility.

Available through authorized SATA distributors beginning mid-June 2026.
