Lantz Named General Manager of Skypac

May 27, 2010. Michael Lantz has been appointed General Manager of Skypac, a Kent, Washington based supplier of general and military aviation airframe and engine components. Mr. Lantz, a senior executive with nearly two decades of aviation parts and MRO management experience, will strategically approach the aviation components and spare parts market worldwide initially placing primary focus on Asia, a region he believes is currently underserved.

Lantz’ goals for Skypac are to identify airframe support requirements within the region, meet with prospective customers’ to identify requirements, and react quickly to meet customer demands. “We’ll staff appropriately as we grow and expand into other market segments as the aviation industry rebounds from its current down turn,” Lantz explained.

.“Skypac will focus on airframe and engine components and specific OEM product line expendables,” says Lantz. “Business growth will occur through component package purchases from the airlines, aircraft teardown and company acquisitions,” he added. Michael Lantz comes to Skypac, a relatively new enterprise, after many years of successful experience working for large Aerospace industry leaders such as Honeywell and AAR Allen Asset Management. Lantz also served in the United States Air Force and is a Gulf War veteran.

Skypac is sister company to Pacific Propeller International, a global leader in the repair and overhaul of large propeller systems utilized by military and private operators worldwide.
