Cygnus Aviation — which includes Airport Business, Ground Support Worldwide, Aircraft Maintenance Technology (AMT), the AMTSociety, AviationPros.com, and the AviationPROS LIVE expo event — is undergoing a reorganization. I have enjoyed very much being publisher of Airport Business for the last six years, but as our group grows and we expand our offerings, my role as part of the Cygnus Aviation team will be focused on the Ground Support Worldwide publication.
With that being said, the new publisher for Airport Business is Phil Saran. Phil comes to Cygnus Aviation with 20 years of experience in business-to-business media and publishing. For the past three years, he was president/publisher at Rylin Meda, publishing commemorative sports magazines.
Prior to Rylin, Phil was with Reed Business Information for 12 years serving as publisher of Graphic Arts Monthly, Graphic Arts Blue Book, and Converting (magazine), serving the commercial printing and packaging industries.
Phil is excited to learn as much about the aviation industry as he can, so I am passing the proverbial torch to Phil Saran, who I know will do great things for the Airport Business property.
