Here are the basics facts:
- GSE maintenance has been driven by either guessing the time before a PM is done, or a calendar time frame.

It’s been was great that electronic Meters were being tested for the GSE world, these companies could only offer a report for the client to look at and try to figure out the data they were getting, and what to do with it, causing even more work to get those number into a maintenance program or something to make use of that data.
However all those meter are really doing is giving some more work to try and use that data to drive the maintenance programs, and mistakes were made daily or even not entering data into their maintenance program at all, leaving most of their reports useless for planning of the timed hours since most numbers was either wrong or just missing.
So we found units that had a 500 hour pm due were being brought in to have that 500 hour PM done at as low as 66 hours to a high of 260 hours.
This is having unneeded maintenance being done and driving the cost per unit up each time.
Next you have the issue of getting the parts required for preform each PM. That could take a day to a week leaving the unit down.

You can now have card swiping for operators, red zones no drive areas, impact report, oil levels history of where a unit has driven, who was operating the unit, you can replay the path of that unit, and more.
