“The first half of 2019 was marked by a positive trend in passenger traffic at Russian airports, an increase in the number of domestic and international flights and higher seat occupancy rates. These factors along with our efforts aimed at growing the efficiency of our business and the expansion of our network have resulted in an increase in our operating performance. That being said, it’s not only the biggest Russian transportation hubs that have significantly contributed to the total sales volume, but also the regional airports across Siberia, such as Novosibirsk, Kemerovo, Tomsk and Omsk. International airports represent another significant growth driver and we managed to increase their number to 208”, emphasized Vladimir Yegorov, CEO of Gazpromneft-Aero.
