Mallaghan is continuing to invest in its U.S. manufacturing operations as the ground support equipment manufacturer looks to expand its presence in the North American market.

The company highlighted its plans during a visit by Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp to Mallaghan’s headquarters in Dungannon, Northern Ireland. Mallaghan operates a manufacturing facility in Newnan, Georgia, where it employs more than 100 people.

Mallaghan entered the U.S. market in 2012 and opened the Newnan facility in 2017. The company said continued investment in the plant will support future growth and strengthen its ability to serve airlines, airports and ground service providers throughout North America.

“It was a pleasure to welcome Governor Kemp to our headquarters in Dungannon and to discuss the exciting opportunities ahead for Mallaghan in both Northern Ireland and the United States,” said Joe Griffith, chief commercial officer at Mallaghan.

Griffith said the company’s investment in Georgia reflects its long-term commitment to the North American market and confidence in the Newnan operation. He added that collaboration between Mallaghan’s Dungannon and Newnan teams supports the company’s ability to manufacture and deliver GSE for customers across the region.

“Our visit to Mallaghan’s operation in Dungannon made it clear why the company has been such a valuable addition to Georgia’s manufacturing sector,” Kemp said. “From its base in Newnan, Mallaghan has created high-quality jobs, invested in local talent, and built strong relationships with customers across North America.”

Mallaghan manufactures GSE at its facilities in Northern Ireland and Georgia, with products sold in more than 100 countries.
