Reno-Tahoe Airport Receives $1.2 Million Grant for Electric Charging Stations

The Reno-Tahoe International Airport Authority has received $1.2 million to add electric-powered ground support equipment charging stations.

RENO, Nev. (News 4 & Fox 11) — The Reno-Tahoe International Airport Authority has received $1.2 million to add electric-powered ground support equipment charging stations.

The Federal Aviation Administration’s (FAA) Voluntary Airport Low Emission Program (VALE) is designed to reduce all sources of airport ground emissions and encourages airports to implement clean technology projects that improve air quality.
