Work Stoppage Impacts Hamburg Airport Operations

A strike by baggage handlers, aircraft cleaners and bus drivers in the Verdi union affected hundreds of flights at Hamburg Airport Thursday.

According to a report from The Local, approximately 30,000 passengers were affected as 114 departures and 137 arrivals were scheduled during the strike.
