Worker Injured in Hong Kong Airport Vehicle Fire

A ground worker at Hong Kong International Airport sustained minor injuries when a cargo loading vehicle caught fire next to a parked aircraft on Monday evening.

The vehicle was loading for American Airlines flight AA192, which code shares with MH9472 and CX7686, when the blaze started near the tail of the plane at about 5.20pm. No crew or passengers were on board the aircraft, which was near gate No 42 at the airport.
