Avelo Airlines announced Thursday, April 28 Wilmington, North Carolina as the newest city to its network with three new nonstop routes: Connecticut’s most convenient airport – Tweed-New Haven Airport (HVN), Orlando International Airport (MCO) and the National Capital region via Baltimore Washington International Airport (BWI).

Avelo Airlines Chairman and CEO Andrew Levy said, “Wilmington – Say hello to Avelo! We are thrilled to announce Wilmington as the newest Avelo city, with three new nonstop destinations: New Haven, Orlando and D.C. We know our Wilmington Customers will enjoy using Avelo as a reliable and affordable choice for their next vacation, weekend getaway, or reconnecting with family and friends.”

The new routes will begin on June 30 and July 1, 2022 and will operate on Boeing Next Generation 737 aircraft.
