The European locations of Signature Flight Support, the world’s largest network of Fixed Base Operators (FBOs), has been bestowed the title of ‘Handling Agent/FBO of the Year’ in the Air Charter Association’s ‘Excellence Awards’ for 2019. The award was presented on Oct. 16 in London, England.
The Air Charter Association, comprised primarily of European aircraft charter operators, holds an annual survey among its constituent members to vote for an FBO or handling agent that has exhibited extraordinary service through the course of the year. Signature prevailed through three rounds of review to be awarded the ACA’s top honor for private aviation ground handlers.
The award follows a marked expansion of Signature’s IS-BAH certified FBOs. Throughout 2019, locations at Paris-LeBourget (LBG), Milan-Linate (LIN), Milan-Malpensa (MXP), Rome-Ciampino (CIA), Munich (MUC), and Van Nuys (VNY) achieved IS-BAH Stage I Certification. Furthermore, Signature’s London-Luton location was awarded IS-BAH Stage II Certification following an intensive auditing process.
