WATERFORD, MICH. - Following an in-depth audit conducted by ARGUS International Incorporated (ARGUS) and third-party International Standards for Business Aircraft Operations (IS-BAO) accredited auditors, Pentastar Aviation Charter, Inc. successfully renewed their ARGUS Platinum Rating and their Stage 2 IS-BAO Registration. Pentastar Aviation, LLC also successfully renewed their Stage 2 IS-BAO Registration.

The prestigious Platinum Rating is ARGUS’ highest accreditation and is awarded only to those air charter operators who have demonstrated successful implementation of 100% of ARGUS industry best practices relative to their operations and maintenance. Pentastar’s operations have been Platinum rated since 2006.
IS-BAO is a worldwide standard developed by the industry, for the industry. It is a code of best practices based on the International Civil Aviation Organizations (ICAO) International Standards and Recommended Practices. It was developed to promote global standardization for safety and to assist operators in establishing a code of best practices designed to help flight departments worldwide achieve high levels of safety and professionalism. The voluntary biennial audit and achievement of Stage 2 IS-BAO is demonstrated, in part, by evidence of a robust and fully implemented Safety Management System (SMS). Pentastar’s operations have been IS-BAO Registered since 2010.
