Jet Aviation Berlin Adds New Customer Lounge in Time for Champions League Final

With airport authorities at Schönefeld anticipating 500 aircraft for the event, Jet Aviation Berlin’s second new customer lounge is a welcome addition to the company’s FBO offerings at Schönefeld International Airport.

Berlin, Germany / May 19, 2015 – Jet Aviation Berlin recently introduced a second customer lounge in the General Aviation Terminal at Schönefeld International Airport. The company is also ramping up for the Champions League Final being hosted in Berlin on June 6, 2015.

The 60th Champions League Final of the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) will be hosted at the Olympiastadion in Berlin on June 6, 2015. With airport authorities at Schönefeld anticipating 500 aircraft for the event, Jet Aviation Berlin’s second new customer lounge is a welcome addition to the company’s FBO offerings at Schönefeld International Airport.

“Demand for our handling services in Berlin has increased since we began operating two years ago and we are expanding our facilities to best ensure the ongoing comfort of our customers,” says Frank Kusserow, Jet Aviation's Director of FBO Services in Germany. “We are particularly pleased to have this additional support available in time for our customers planning to attend the final Champions League match in June.”

In preparation for the surge of passengers expected for the Champions League Final, Jet Aviation Berlin has also added a ramp and air-side limousine service to accommodate all transportation requirements. The ramp at Berlin Brandenburg Airport, the international airport currently under construction next to Schönefeld, is being made available to help accommodate additional traffic during the Champions League.
