TETERBORO, N.J. / February 10, 2015 – Jet Aviation is now managing FBO facilities at Lynden Pindling International Airport in Nassau, Bahamas. To celebrate its opening, Jet Aviation Nassau hosted a welcome reception for customers, local delegates and business executives on January 23, 2015.

Jet Aviation recently signed an FBO management agreement with Executive Flight Support (EFS) and opened its doors to Jet Aviation Nassau on January 1, 2015. To commemorate the opening, the company held a welcome reception for approximately 200 local clients, politicians, embassy and consular officials and other dignitaries from the business community on January 23, 2015. A welcome address was given by David Paddock, senior vice president and general manager of U.S. Aircraft Services, after which tours of the facility were given and local wines and delicacies served.

The Jet Aviation Nassau FBO features 305,000 square feet of ramp space and includes onsite Bahamas Customs and Immigration available 24 hours, concierge service, computerized flight planning, pilot lounge,
executive lounges, conference room, courtesy offices, on-site car rental and 20,000 square feet of hangar space.

Starting later this year, the company has plans to add new tenant hangars and remodel the 10,000 square foot FBO interior, which will include a new lobby, pilot’s lounge, VIP rooms and conference rooms. The existing ramp will also be repaved and expanded by an additional 174,000 square feet to accommodate the growing traffic. A formal launch party will follow later this year after the renovations are completed.

"The Jet Aviation brand is recognized worldwide and has been openly welcomed by The Government of The Bahamas and the local aviation community at large,” said Alphonso Bowe, owner and managing director of
EFS. “The opening function was attended by approximately 200 business executives, resort operators, government representatives and international dignitaries. Aircraft arriving at LPIA can now be assured that Jet Aviation Nassau will meet and exceed their expectations, in service and facilities. We have already received feedback from aircraft operators who say that having the technical support of Jet Aviation, a world leading
business aviation organization at Nassau, is a real game changer.”

“We are delighted to expand our FBO network to The Bahamas,” said John Langevin, vice president, FBO operations, North America. “EFS shares our commitment to the highest standards and has been operating the
premier full-service FBO in the Caribbean since 1990. We look forward to providing our customers with the best personalized service that they have come to expect with Jet Aviation.”
