WARRENTON, Oregon, March 24, 2014 – LEKTRO, Inc. is very proud to announce the delivery of their 4,300th tug to Million Air YYC, in Calgary, Canada.

LEKTRO’s Executive Vice President, Jesse Long personally visited YYC to deliver the all-electric vehicle. “It was a wonderful experience to be able to see this new Million Air location.  Million Air’s choice to purchase LEKTRO’s largest tow vehicle confirms their intent to become a major contender amongst the FBOs at Calgary International Airport.  They are not taking any shortcuts and I believe their obvious dedication to quality and complete customer support will ensure their long-term success.”

YYC is Million Air’s newest fixed base operation. In addition to their impressive line of amenities for pilots and passengers, their purchase of a LEKTRO represents a commitment to reliability and sustainability.

“We are delighted to be partnering with LEKTRO and adding its largest towbarless tug to our GSE fleet.” Million Air YYC General Manager Arantza Corcuera stated. “Our GSE fleet is brand new to match our equally unrivaled state-of-the-art, new facility in YYC.”

LEKTRO revolutionized the aircraft towing industry in 1967 when they unveiled the world’s first towbarless aircraft tug. They continue to meet customer demands with their all-electric towing vehicles and recently received OEM certification for the Airbus A320 and Boeing 737 families.
